.: words masquerading as verse :.

:: a bit about me ::
mugshot
I have now been writing songs and poetry for quite a number of years. I have had one book of poems published so far called ‘Reaching for the Moon' which sold very well both here and in Spain, a few copies even found their way to the United States.

My musical adventure started as a founding member and bass player with a rock n roll covers band called ‘One Foot in the Grave’ but due to my lack of musical ability, they gently hinted that they would be better of without me, and they were.

Moving on a few years I helped form the psychedelic band Alchemist with some friends and we were quite successful for a short time until due to musical differences we came to a grinding halt in a blaze of green light and dry ice after only twenty-six gigs.

I then became involved with the Portsmouth Ranters amongst such luminaries as Terry Schulman, Adrian Cull and Steve Smith, Who all gave me a great deal of encouragement in my endeavours as a writer and performer.

So this is where you find me now, with a new volume of poetry entitled 'Oh No! another book of words masquerading as verse' having just been published. Still playing my songs to anyone who is prepared to listen, around the local folk clubs and open mike nights, and generally enjoying life.
