The Ranters Reunion my 60th Birthday at The RMA Tavern Eastney Portsmouth. 15th November
Thanks to everyone who attended the above event. Terry (the patriarch) Shulman announced that it is twenty-five years since the Ranters began. A great time was had by all; we enjoyed a variety of well sung songs, instrumental pieces and some very fine poetry, ending with a jam session. All organised by Yvonne.
A pretty amazing way to celebrate my 60th birthday this coming Tuesday. Lets do it all again soon!

Forest Folk Trampers Lane, North Boarhunt, near Wickham, Hants. Club singaround. 3rd March 2008
An excellent night, the very welcoming club was full to the rafters with excellent musicians, singers and performers from near and far, superbly run by Janet and Charles. Even though
we have been club members for some time attending many of their very fine concerts this is only the second time that we have been to a club night. I think we will have to try and go more often.
The RMA Tavern Eastney, Portsmouth. Sunday Showcase. 25th November 2007
A really fine night, we were invited to play there by our friend Steve of Zugstoic who along with Ade Cull put on a brilliant night of local talent. We were also treated to a rare poetry reading from Terry Schulman. We look forward to being invited back in The New Year. A very welcoming pub and audiance with a very friendly landlord, and very, very good beer.
The Crown and Sceptre, St Marychurch, Torquay. 26th October 2007

Our first visit to this very fine Folk night which is held every Tuesday evening. A good bunch of friendly musicians and singers, and if you should turn up without an instrument Dee the landlady will find you one from her cupboard. A great big thank you to Adrian and Catherine for their support and encouragement. We look forward to seeing you all again next year.

It is a great lively place to play and the audience is very appreciative. It was a buzz to play with a good p.a.
We will definitely be going back again.
The Broadside Folk Club. 14th June 2006
Back home to the Broadside again.

The Broadside Folk Club. 22nd February 2006
The Broadside meets at the Old House at Home in Locksway Road, Portsmouth, at around eight-thirty on Wednesday evenings. It is a very friendly club with some fine singers and instrumentalists and they make every one very welcome. Although this is probably a very biased review as I have been going there as man and boy for more years than I care to remember and regard this club as my second home.
